The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has declared the National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam results for the 2023-24 session. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download their results from the official website, scertharyana.gov.in/ntse-nmms. The scholarship exam took place on November 19, 2023, across various districts. Only students of Class 8 from recognised schools are eligible for this scholarship.

To be eligible for the Haryana NMMS, the candidate’s household income should be less than Rs 3.5 lakh. Other than the scholarship, students will also get a waiver from the school fees, hostel fees and educational fees at their choice of institution. They will also get a Rs 2,000 allowance for stationery and books. While the Haryana NMMS admit card 2024 was released on November 9, the answer key was out on November 22.

NMMS Haryana Results: How To Check?

Step 1: Go to the official website at scertharyana.gov.in/ntse-nmms.

Step 2: On the homepage, search for the NMMS tab.

Step 3: Tap on the result link for the session 2023-24.

Step 4: The PDF will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print the result for further reference.

Candidates should get the minimum cut-off marks to qualify for the scholarship. The cut-offs are different for different states. For both MAT and SAT papers, the reserved category students must score a minimum of 32 per cent while the unserved should secure at least 40 per cent to qualify.

Students should have scored 55 per cent or equivalent in Class 7. For renewal of scholarship, students should have passed the annual exam with at least 55 per cent. They must score 60 per cent in Class 10 for the continuation of NMMS scholarship in Classes 11 and 12.

The result dates are different for different states. Madhya Pradesh results were announced on February 13. Assam, Manipur, Sikkim and Kerala are expected to release the results in March. Uttarakhand, Telangana and Oddissa are likely to announce the results in May.
