New Delhi: As Kaka prepares to hand over his Balon D'Or crown the Brazilian has said that he would vote for Lionel Messi if he could but that Cristiano Ronaldo will win it.
It's been a difficult season for Kaka, with injuries meaning that he has not always been at full fitness, and now the Brazilian must ready himself to hand over his Balon D'Or crown this December.
The candidates have been announced and speaking about them the AC Milan midfielder says that he would vote for Lionel Messi but he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo will win.
"Messi is the type of player I appreciate a lot," he said, "He dribbles like Ronaldo, scores goals and makes the fans stand up. Often he changes a game himself and if I could vote I would vote for him, but I am not a journalist."
"Ronaldo has won two very important titles with Manchester United and he has scored many goals, I have no doubts that he will be my successor," said the Brazilian.
Whilst speaking about the favourites to take his title he also did not forget the triumph of the Spanish national team and said that many of the players involved in that success deserve it too.
"Fernando Torres and David Villa have done well and in turn Iker Casillas has had many good moments with both Real Madrid and Spain. Nor can one forget Xavi or Cesc Fabregas and in my opinion they will all be amongst the favourites," he said.
