Popcorn is one the most common snacks associated with movies and sleepovers. At times, regular buttered popcorn may get a little boring, so be creative and add different goodies to make it more unique.
Preparing the Popcorn
Microwave the popcorn. Follow the directions listed on your microwaveable popcorn bag. Be sure to listen to the crackles. Continuing to heat the bag when there is no noise, will result in burnt popcorn.
Pour the bag in a large bowl. Pick out and discard any unpopped kernels.
Set the bowl aside.
Finishing the Popcorn
Melt the chocolate. Use a microwave-safe bowl and add the chocolate. Stir every 30 seconds until it's melted thoroughly.
Pour the chocolate over the popcorn. Ensure everything is coated evenly.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top. Carefully fold the popcorn to combine everything thoroughly.
Transfer the popcorn mixture to a lined baking sheet. Spread the mixture out evenly.
Allow the mixture to harden. Set the sheet aside for about 45 minutes.
