New Zealand and Netherlands are set to square off in the sixth match of the 2023 World Cup. The Kiwis are currently on a great run in ODIs. They won their last series 2-0 against Bangladesh and looked quite sharp in the warm-up games ahead of the marquee tournament. New Zealand are already off to a great start in the tournament, bagging a nine-wicket victory against England. The English side were curbed to a 282-run thanks to a three-wicket haul from Matt Henry during the first innings. In the second half of the game, Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway stitched a brilliant partnership of 273 runs that saw both players score centuries. Their immaculate innings were enough to seal the victory for the Black Caps as they hope to repeat a similar feat against the Dutch side.

New Zealand and the Netherlands will clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on October 8. The Dutch didn’t get the welcome they were hoping for as they suffered a 84-run in their opening game against Pakistan. Despite picking up early wickets, the Netherlands failed to fend off Pakistan’s batting offence. In the second innings, the entire Dutch side was dismissed as they lost the match.
