BANGALORE: The State Human Rights Commission raided Sumana Samajika Seva Samsthe, a rehabilitation centre at Chinnahanenahalli at Hosakote, on Monday and found that around 105 people were provided only one soap for bathing and one blade for shaving. Of the 105, there were 13 women and 92 men. The sleuths found that the rehabilitation centre was functioning inside a poultry farm. The owner Lakshmi Narayana and his son Prashanth were arrested.The centre was run to rehabilitate people who are addicted to alcohol. But people, who have been rescued, complained that they were not alcoholics. They claimed that they were treated cruelly by the father and son.
