BANGALORE: A 25-year-old youth was allegedly murdered by his neighbours             for misbehaving with a          woman. The incident occurred at Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) quarters in Yeshwantpur police station limits on Sunday evening. The police have arrested three persons in connection with the incident.The victim has been identified as Srikanth, an executive of a private firm. Ravi and his brother-in-law Ramesh Babu are two of the three persons arrested by      the police on charges of murder. The victim and the accused were staying at CMTI               quarters.According to the police, Srikanth was allegedly addicted to alcohol and used to quarrel with his neighbours. He also allegedly misbehaved with Ramesh Babu’s wife, who was staying opposite to his house. On Sunday evening, Ramesh Babu and his wife’s elder brother objected over Srikanth’s behaviour and this led to a heated argument between them.“At this juncture, Ramesh Babu, Ravi and the other accused attacked Srikanth and assaulted him. They punched him on his chest and Srikanth went back home. After some time, he was not able to bear the pain and his family members shifted him to a hospital. But the doctors declared him brought dead after examining him,” the police explained.The three were arrested based on a complaint filed by Srikanth’s family members. Srikanth’s father was an employee of CMTI and passed away a year ago. His family had to vacate the house in a few days, the police added. A post mortem was conducted at M S Ramaiah Hospital.
