Three women were arrested in Maharashtra’s Virar after a scuffle broke out between a group of women, who were under the influence of alcohol.
The incident was captured on camera and received a lot of attention on social media. In the video, the drunk women can be seen misbehaving and abusing the policemen, while a female officer tries to intervene.
As per police, a fight broke out between two groups of women at a pub in Virar. Following the scuffle, the cops were called and they intervened. The women involved allegedly assaulted the police.
Three people were taken into custody and booked under IPC sections 353, 323, 325, 332, 504 and 506.
Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
