4 Maoists bid farewell to arms

JAJPUR: Four Maoists, two women and two minors, surrendered at the SP’s office at Panikoili in Jajpur on Saturday.The four have been identified as Suru Palia, Laxmi Heas, Bikram Gagarai and Ramesh Gagarai, aged between 17 and 25. They belong to Baligotha village under Kalinga Nagar police limits.Informing this to mediapersons, SP Deepak Kumar said the administration would extend all assistance to the cadres as per the State Government’s rehabilitation policy. Deepak Kumar said all   the four were involved in Daitari police station attack, abduction of police officer Umesh Marandi, murder of one Kailash Mahant and attack on Telkoi liquor shop in Keonjhar district. They were also wanted in several heinous crimes in Keonjhar district.
