8 suspected of murder, search on

KOCHI: The Njarakkal police on Sunday registered a case against eight persons, in connection with the murder  of a person, following a clash between committee members of a mosque at Pazhangad. The police said that eight unidentified persons are suspected to be involved in the death of Abdul Khayum. The search for these persons is continuing.The committee members allegedly came to blows over the functioning of a school, which is managed by the mosque.  “We are investigating the case and a search for the suspected persons is on. All the people involved in the case would be taken into custody soon,” police officials said.
