Patil, who enjoys the status of a cabinet rank minister and who is general secretary of state BJP, allegedly manhandled HKADB official Srimant Pattedar on Wednesday evening. Fifteen of Patil's associates were also involved in the assault, according to the cases registered on Thursday following a complaint lodged by the government employee.
