Anti-Tamil if you back KKNPP, say activists

SALEM: The protest against KKNPP will be made into a Tamil movement, said members of various movements and forums, at a preparatory meeting on Wednesday.The meeting was held to discuss the proposed conference-cum-rally to be held at Chennai on February 26. Activists from various forums have formed a new collective to support the anti-nuclear struggle. Manoj Thangaraj wanted the Chennai conference to be a turning point in the Koodankulam struggle moving the issue to its next level. He said, “The issue should not be seen as an isolated local affair. Statements supporting the commissioning of the plant should be seen as anti-Tamil.”
