Big B bonds well with child actors

Mumbai: Filmstar Amitabh Bachchan's leading lady in his forthcoming release Ek Ajnabi is one lucky eight-year-old.

After being cast opposite child actor Aayesha in the critically acclaimed film Black Amitabh Bachchan will now be seen in his forthcoming film Ek Ajnabi playing hero to another child artist.

Ek Ajnabi's director Apoorva Lakhia and the star cast including Amitabh Bachchan and his leading lady, Rucha Vaidya, got together to announce the release of the film in India.

Bachchan said that Rucha is a very talented and flawless actor.

In the film, Bachchan plays a bodyguard to Rucha, who is the daughter of a rich NRI couple, played by hotelier Vikram Chatwal and Perizad Zorabian. After a substantial gap Bachchan will be seen in an action role.

With an early opportunity to share screen space with the Big B, Rucha could'nt contain her excitement as she narrated her favourite sequence in the film.

In the scene her parents are not in town and Bachchan also leaves her alone in her room. She then jumps with joy with her new-found freedom but Bachchan catches her at the act.

Shot extensively in Bangkok and Thailand, Ek Ajnabi was completed in 35 days flat. The film releases in India on December 9.
