The Bhopal Gas Peedit Mahila Udyog Sangthan (BGPMUS) today felt that if urgent measures were not taken against attrition, the Bhopal Medical Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC) would have to face closure in next 3-4 months.
Speaking to reporters here, BGPMUS convenor Abdul Jabbar said that BMHRC had been established by the government as per an order by the Supreme Court in 2010.
Since, BMHRC doctors were constantly leaving their jobs, it is in a very bad shape, he said.
Jabbar said that BMHRC has been periodically advertising for new doctors but no posts had been filled in the last four months.
