CM, HDK have no faith in constitution

UDUPI: The challenge by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to his bete noire former CM H D Kumaraswamy to take an oath before Lord Manjunatha, the presiding deity of Sri Kshethra Dharmasthala, has taken a new turn with Lokayukta Justice N Santhosh Hegde terming the episode as an attempt to malign Sri Manjunatha in the eye of people.Addressing the press here on Monday, Justice Hegde questioned whether this ceremony would prove anyone’s guilt.If they really had any faith in the Constitution, they would have set up a commission to inquire in to the allegations leveled by Kumaraswamy, he said.
