A team of the UP police searched the ancestral house of the co-accused in the Noida serial child killing case.

New Delhi: A team of the Uttar Pradesh police on Tuesday searched the ancestral house of Moninder Singh Pandher, co-accused in the Noida serial child killing case.

His ancestral house is located in Lohat Baddi village, 62 kilometres from Ludhiana district.

In an effort to find clues supporting an organ trade angle in the case, three sub inspectors and two constables plus local police searched the house for more than an hour on Tuesday afternoon.

While the UP police team were not willing to divulge whether a link between Pandher and organ trade had been found, local police sources concluded that no such connection had been found.

The house is currently occupied by caretakers as the family members have been living in Chandigarh and Delhi for many years.
