A shocking incident was recorded in a small village in Lakhimpur Kheri district, Uttar Pradesh as residents were left in shock after discovering a large crocodile inside a local hut. Panic quickly swept through the Gulri Purwa village, and a crowd gathered to witness the unusual sight. A video of the incident, filmed by a local resident, swiftly went viral on social media.

The incident was immediately reported to the forest department and a rescue team arrived at the spot shortly after. The forest department team successfully rescued the crocodile and took it into their care.

A Shocking Guest

A crocodile was found resting inside the hut of Damodar, a resident of Gulri Purva village in the ​​​​Lakhimpur Kheri district. Damodar’s family was shocked by the unexpected intruder. He explained that recent flooding in the Ghaghara river likely caused the crocodile to enter a nearby pond, eventually making its way into his home.

According to him, crocodiles have been venturing into residential areas and have occasionally preyed on local dogs.

Damodar said that after discovering the giant guest, a crowd gathered and started making noise. They also informed the forest department. The forest department employees promptly reached the spot and caught the crocodile. The forest department officials said that the crocodile would be released back into the river.
