Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018 First Allotment List for admissions to nursery class in over 1700 private schools in the capital is expected to be released today by the Directorate of Education, Delhi (DelE).
Delhi Nursery Admissions process for academic year 2018-19 began on 27th December 2017 for parents seeking admissions to nursery class for their wards.
The first allotment list is scheduled to be released today by the DelE and the second list will follow soon on 26th February 2018, later this month. Waiting Lists can be expected only after the first and second allotment lists are released by the schools.
The Directorate of Education, Delhi aims to complete the Delhi Nursery Admissions Process 2018 by 31st March 2018.
How to check Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018 First Allotment List?
All private schools are supposed to put the Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018 First Allotment List on their school notice boards. The same is updated on the official website of the schools. Parents must keep a tab on official websites of the schools they had applied for, to stay up to date.
Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018 - How seats are allotted?
Seats will be allotted via Point System for Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018. Out of a total 100 points, criteria like neighborhood, alumni, sibling, etc is kept and points are allocated to each criterion. Seats are allotted based on these points, however, in case of a tie, seats are allocated as per draw of lots in front of the parents.
Also, wherever the number of applications is more than number of seats, seat allotment is done via draw of lots in presence of applicants.
Parents are given a 3 days window to get their queries answered and then confirm seats.
Schools also release the waiting list for Nursery admissions as most of the parents apply for more than one school and hence seats are left vacant.
Grievance Redressal?
Directorate of Education, Delhi will open the grievance redressal window from 1st March 2018 to 7th March 2018 wherein parents can file their complaints or grievances.
Upper Age-Limit Not Applicable for Delhi Nursery Admissions 2018
Parents must know that the upper age-limit criterion is not applicable for Nursery Admissions for the academic year 2018-19. As per Delhi Government’s decision, the same might be introduced from next session.
