HYDERABAD: Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) convenor E Dayakar Rao has demanded that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao should disclose the secret meeting they had with with AP state Congress affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi recently.Dayakar Rao alleged that the chief minister and Rao’s aide Lakshmi Rajam called on Azad recently and discussed about the Polavaram tenders.As a result the high power committee meeting on Polavaram, scheduled to be held on Thursday, was postponed.Dayakar Rao alleged that the TRS leader T Harish Rao did not even register a token protest, when chief minister visited Medak recently.TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram too did not make any noise on the visit of the chief minister.He demanded an explanation from the TRS on why they kept quiet while Congress and Jagan toured the region but obstructed TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s tour.Dayakar Rao said that the TTDF would soon meet the Prime Minister and the chief minister on Polavaram tender row and also about conferring national project status on Pranahita-Chevella project.If they did not respond positively, the TTDF would launch its padayatra from January 25.He said that the TTDF would stage a dharna before Jantar Mantar in New Delhi during the budget session of the Parliament to press for separate Telangana state.
