BANGALORE: Minutes after saying he was not sure how long he would continue in office, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda expressed confidence of completing the term.“I don’t know how long I will stay in power.But however long I stay, my focus will be on welfare of the state,” Gowda said after inaugurating the new block of SJBIT Engineering College in Bangalore on Saturday.“It’s natural that every politician aspires to complete the full term.But quite often that doesn’t happen.My statement was a casual comment and there is no need to attach any importance to it,” he later told reporters on the sidelines of the programme.“I have completed a month in office.I wish to do well in the coming days,” the CM and refused to react to the Bellary leaders’ move to quit the party.
