Kripashankar assets case: SC hearing today

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday is expected to hear the Mahrashtra government's plea to allow former Mumbai Police Commissioner Arup Patnaik to continue as head of the Special Investigation Team which is probing the Kripashankar assets case.

Patnaik was recently replaced as the Commissioner and elevated to the rank of the DGP.

Congress member Kripahshankar Singh is being investigated for the amassing of disproportionate assets.
