New Delhi: The body of a 25-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in a park in Safdarjung Enclave area of South Delhi on Wednesday morning, police said.
The deceased identified as Shivashish, who worked at a restaurant in Yusuf Sarai area, was apparantly upset over his financial condition, police said.
The body was found hanging from a tree in Deer Park by a jogger around 7 AM, they said, adding that the hands of the deceased were tied up.
Shivashish was living with his brother and hesitated in asking for money from his family members. He was unhappy with his salary of Rs 6000 as he was finding it diffcult to sustain in the city. He left home following an argument on Tuesday, police said.
Prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, they said.
The body has been sent for post mortem examination and further investigations are on in the matter, police added.
