New school building Inaugurated

THIRUVANATHAPURAM: The new school building of the Madhuvan Sai Vidyasram Trust was inaugurated by Transport-Devaswom Minister V S Sivakumar at Madhuvan Sathya Sai Ashram here on Monday. Inaugurating the building, the Minister said that the Sisuvikas project under which free and good quality education was provided to the rural children for the last 11 years was indeed a model worth emulating.The trust office-bearers said that the project was aimed at providing free education from the pre-school level (Montessori system) to secondary level (ICSE syllabus) for rural children.They said that from the academic year 2011-12, successful students from  pre-school would be admitted to Madhuvan Sai Vidyashram School and would be given free study materials, uniform, transportation and accommodation.  The free distribution of the uniform and study materials was made by Vilappil panchayat president Shobhana Kumari at the function.
