HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh State-Level Police Recruitment Board on Wednesday issued notification for filling 100 posts of SCT police constables (APSP) in the 15th Battalion of APSP. In a statement, the board officials said all the vacancies would be filled with male candidates belonging to Aboriginal Tribes who are domiciled in the scheduled areas of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts through direct recruitment. Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years of age as on January 1, 2011.The upper age limit would be relaxed as per details in the notification.Minimum educational qualification is class IX. As on the date of notification, the candidate must have passed class IX from a state recognised school.
