BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday reserved its orders on the petition filed by HC judges Justice Kedambadi Jaganatha Shetty, Justice G P Shivaprakash and Justice M P Chinappa and others, challenging the allocation of Civic Amenity (CA) sites in Judicial Layout.The Karnataka State Judicial Department Employees’ House Building Co-Operative Society, meanwhile on Friday, submitted details pertaining to allotment of sites in Judicial Layout in the HC. The petitioners have challenged the allocation of CA sites, citing violation of zonal regulations. The division bench comprising Justice Ram Mohan Reddy and Justice H Billappa, which reserved its order on the petition, will hear another petition by former HC judges Justice Kedambadi Jaganatha Shetty, Justice G P Shivaprakash and Justice M P Chinappa and others, alleging violation of the bylaws of the Society.The bench directed counsel for respondents Subrmanya Jois to file written submission to supplement his oral submission and adjourned the matter for further hearing.The petitioners had moved the HC stating that the Society had marked CA sites and allotted them to various people. They said the joint survey conducted in 2006 by BDA, petitioners and the housing society revealed that 404 CA sites in the layout were reduced, and sites were allotted to several non-members, 205 among whom were associate members not entitled for sites.
