Will you join the eco-friendly bandwagon, too?

Mumbai: Singer Shibani Kashyap, who lives by herself in Mumbai is going back to her hometown in Delhi to celebrate Diwali with her family and closest friends.

"There's no place like home," says Shibani, who hit the Indian music scene with her album Ho Gayi Hai Mohabbat in the year 1998.

She can't wait to savour her mother's delicious sweets. "It's not like I'm not worried about my weight but once in a while you should just let your hair down," she laughs.

MY FIRST DIWALI AFTER DIVORCE

This 31-year old single mom has exciting plans with her son.

Shibani's parents have recently done up their Delhi home so the celebrations will be even bigger.

So, then can we expect more than a few crackers to be lit? "No way! I used to love bursting crackers when I was a kid but I don't anymore. It's bad for the environment and bad for the lungs and throat, too," she says. She of all people would know.

Shibani isn't even going to allow anyone else around her to burst crackers. We say cheers to our new climate cop!

What's your reaction?
