Suspend harsh headmaster: CM

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister N Kiran Reddy on Thursday directed Mahaboobnagar DEO to suspend headmaster Venkatram of Pudunuru ZP High School who had punished a class VII student Naveen Kumar on July 26 for playing outside the class in the absence of a teacher. Naveen Kumar collapsed and was later, hospitalised after he obeyed headmaster's orders and did 100 sit-ups. He was shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday after his condition deteriorated.
