Expressing anguish over the arrest of T leaders, Keshava Rao said that it was shameful of the Congress government to imprison their own party MPs. Recalling that the then president APJ Abdul Kalam promised separate Telangana during his address at a joint parliamentary session in 2004, Keshava Rao asked the state government to implement Kalam’s statement. Minister Komatireddy said T ministers were behaving like Seemandhra leaders in suggesting that T employees should call off their stir.
