HYDERABAD: Three notorious history-sheeters were arrested on Monday and deadly weapons recovered. Police claimed that a murder conspiracy had been foiled with the arrest of two of them. The West Zone Task Force sleuths held two history-sheeters in Tappachabutra and recovered two swords. The arrested are Mohd Akbar Siddiqui, who runs Akbar Textiles at Sabjimandi in Kulsumpura and resident of Tappachabutra and Shaik Sultan, a centring worker from Yousufnagar. Both were involved in murder, attempt to murder, robbery and other cases. Task Force DCP Ch Ramchander said Akbar was into real estate business at Rajendranagar earlier which led to disputes. In one dispute, an attempt to murder case was registered against Akbar. The duo decided to eliminate their rivals and procured two swords from Jumerath Bazar. Task Force sleuths nabbed the duo when they met at Akbar’s residence on Monday. Meanwhile, North Zone Task Force sleuths nabbed Omer Quadri, a history-sheeter of Begum Bazar police limits at Karachi Bakery and recovered a dagger.
