Train carrying petroleum products derails, explodes

New Delhi: A train derailed in Oklahoma on Friday and though there have been no casualties, it caused a major explosion and sent out massive flames and black smoke into the sky.

Several cars of the train which were carrying petroleum products went off the track.

Firefighters were held back because of excessive heat.

They also had to wait to determine the type of chemical they would have to deal with.

Also several school buses in the area were re-routed to protect children from a potentially hazardous situation.
