ANANTAPUR: Sri Satyasai Central Trust which met here on Tuesday felt that it is better to open the Yajurveda mandir as soon as possible in the presence of Revenue and Police officials and close relatives of Satya Saibaba.

The trust felt that this is the best course to dispel doubts among devotees and general public about various items inside the mandir, where Baba lived.

In the wake of rumours doing rounds that some of the valuable items like gold and silver ornaments, given as gifts by the devotees to Baba, were taken away by some of those close to him, they opined that the mandir should be opened soon.

The trust also discussed disbursement of salaries to its employees. According to information, trust members RJ Ratnakar, SV Giri, trust secretary Chakravarthy and trust working committee member Nagananda attended the meeting while two other trust members Indulal Shaw and Justice Bhagavathi were absent. The members resolved to hold the trust meeting again, after two or three days. Final decision regarding opening of the Yajurveda mandir would be taken then.
