TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is now contemplating to display the sacred Srivari ornaments at S V Museum in Tirumala shortly.For the past two months, the TTD administration has been working out the plan and had even held a meeting with ASI officials. It has been decided to upgrade the museums .“Some of the exhibits in Tirupati museum, which are related to Sri Vaishnava cult might be categorised and shifted to the Tirumala musuem,” TTD executive officer, L V Subramanyam stated.He explained that ASI officials have assured of technical support to the TTD for setting up or to build stalls with a high level of security and to renovate an old library at Tirupati museum.It is learnt that TTD JEO, K S Srinivasa Raju and engineering officials will accompany Subramanyam on a visit to the national museum in Delhi to study the preservation and exhibition of antic jewellery. Pilgrims can feast their eyes on antique jewellery like, Nagabharanam, Makara Kanit, Pachala Haram and others.
