Two rag-pickers nabbed

KOCHI: Two rag pickers were nabbed by the city police for stealing goods from houses on Thursday night. The arrested were Malikarjun and Nagaraju who belong to Anandpur in Andhra Pradesh. They move from house to house during the day time and rob the houses at night.The night patrolling police nabbed the rag pickers from the Kaloor-Kathrikadavu road with 10 kg copper wire stolen from a electric shop. The arrested were produced before the court and remanded for 14 days.The arrest was made by North CI Zaheer and SI Vijayshankar.
