UoM scandal: Committee submits report

MYSORE: The Women Harassment Compliant Committee of the University of Mysore (UoM), probing into the alleged sexual harassment by Zoology department Prof Shivabasaviah on a project fellow, has been submitted to University Registrar P S Naik.The committee summoned Prof Shivabasavaiah and other faculty, and recorded their statements. Sources say the committee has found prima facie evidence against Prof Shivabasavaiah. The report is likely to be tabled before the UoM Syndicate after V-C Prof V G Talwar returns from China.
