The Uttar Pradesh government has moved court seeking cancellation of bail to 50 Muzaffarnagar riot accused. The accused include BJP MLAs Sangeet Som and Suresh Rana and BSP MLA Kadir Rana.
For Sangeet Som, the UP government has appealed in High Court while for others, it has sent an appeal in district court. UP government has told the court that the accused could try to disturb peace during elections.
