As per figures released by the Centre for 2013-14, Madhya Pradesh has registered 11.08 per cent GDP growth for the period, the sources said on Monday adding it was ahead of other major states in the country. Besides this, the state also recorded an impressive increase in per capita income.
Madhya Pradesh's GDP growth was at 9.89 per cent in 2012-13 and 9.69 per cent in year 2011-12. As per the figures for 2013-14, the state's per capita income at current prices stands at Rs 54,030.
