Workshop held on law and order

KOCHI: A one-day workshop conducted by Thrikkakera Keli on ‘Public and the maintenance of law and order’, was held on Sunday at the Youth Hostel. The workshop was inaugurated by MLA Benny Behnan, while T L Jose, Keli Committee member presided over the function.City Police Commissioner M R Ajith Kumar delivered the keynote address. K Raju, Kalamassery CI, and Dini Mathew, regional manager, Women’s Development Corporation, spoke on ‘Women and legal protection’. Thrikkakara municipal chairman P I Muhammed Ali, Muslim League general secretary P K Jaleel and counsellors Xavier Thayankeri, Shaji Vazhakala, Usha Suresh and K I Muhammed Kunju were also present.
