We can all agree that losing weight is probably one of the most daunting tasks. It is a daily battle to make stubborn body fat vanish. In most cases, the battle involves sacrificing our favourite dishes. However, nowadays, obesity and overweight are major problems faced by the young generation. Recently, Niriksha Pandey, a 31-year-old woman, went from her highest weight of 68 kg to 56 kg by losing 12 kg in 2.5 months and her quick transformation is garnering everyone’s attention. So today, let’s take a look at her diet and workout routine to burn the extra calories.
According to reports, childbirth is a common cause of weight gain in women. In Niriksha’s case, after giving birth to her second child, she started gaining excessive weight. Post-pregnancy, she got busy with the child and had no time to take care of herself.
In June 2021, Niriksha gave birth to her second child. After that, none of her clothes used to fit her. So she had to buy a new set of clothes and started buying clothes in sizes XL and XXL. But after some time, Niriksha became determined to lose weight and started focusing on diet and exercise.
Food list:
- Breakfast: Early in the morning, she would have five almonds, two walnuts, one teaspoon of sunflower and pumpkin seeds and two figs. At 9 a.m., she would eat something like aval, semiya, pasta, three idlis and chutney for breakfast.
- Lunch: In the afternoon, she used to eat one apple, an orange and a bowl of papaya. For lunch, she had two chapatis, one bowl of vegetables, one bowl of lentils and one bowl of salad.
- Dinner: At 6 o’clock, she would have dal khichdi and at night, one bowl of salad for dinner. There was no food or drink after that. She also avoided any kind of processed food or fast food in her diet.
Daily Exercise:
Niriksha had a routine of exercising for 30 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening. But she did not go to the gym. Overall, by following this diet plan and simple exercise, she achieved her goal of weight loss.
