The outlet, which recently opened in Greater Kailash 2, whips up an interesting blend of ‘real’ Mexican and fusion tacos.

While the list of interesting, never-tired-before dishes - which you should gorge on while visiting Mexico - is unending, we tell you today how you could sample the best flavours of the country while still being in Delhi. If you call yourself a Mexican food lover, chances are you’ve dropped in at Delhi’s Twisted Tacos. The outlet, which recently opened in Greater Kailash 2, whips up an interesting blend of ‘real’ Mexican and fusion tacos.

If you enjoy Burrito as often as you can, that means you love to celebrate all types of fillings – veg and non-veg, all types of versions – baked and grilled. Even though most of you would agree that anything that you have in the fridge can find its way into a Burrito, chefs at Twisted Tacos, make sure they use the right combinations. Burrito at Twisted Tacos comes with an interesting blend of - minced lamb, with soft, creamy refried beans put in a wrap. I was happy that the chef met the challenge of preparing all perfectly seasoned parts stuffed in a balanced way in Burrito, and keeping all aspects at the right proportion, consistency and texture.

But what’s more intriguing is the Chicken Fajitas. The sizzling platter of deliciousness – had the chicken seared on the grill, then sliced in strips and served with onions, seared pepper and rice. It was truly amazing.

The Chicken Tikka Taco which came next is what I can try once again. Unlike other versions this one doesn’t call for the meat being over spiced. Even though it came with a rich Indian flavour, it didn’t have any of the tikka spices.

For the less adventurous, Twisted Taco also offers Quesadillas, Mexican Rice Bowl, Cheesy Nachos with Jalapenos and Potato Wedges.

My meal closed with Choco Brownie Decadence Jar - essentially separate layers of brownie, with ice-cream scoops drizzled completely with chocolate syrup. As a parting shot, I asked for the much-recommended mighty glass of Ferrero Rocher Shake that left me with that sweet lingering taste of the chocolate. Not excessively sweet, but truly delectable.

Located right opposite the entrance of the M-Block Market in GK II, Twisted Tacos have 12 different options of fillings, which is expected to woo several Mexican food lovers. They even deliver food to most of the areas in South Delhi.
