Aditi Sarangdhar has etched herself as one of the leading names in Marathi entertainment industry after featuring in successful shows and films. Earlier in June, she grabbed headlines for a shocking revelation she made about her pregnancy period, for which she became a victim of online trolling. The actress has now issued clarification on her statements. Back in June, she appeared for an interview on a YouTube channel. During the interaction, she mentioned having unusual cravings throughout her pregnancy. According to her, she craved beer during the period. Aditi Sarangdhar stated, “’I did not eat Indian food during my pregnancy. In those days, I just ate salads and I wanted to drink beer.”
Speaking further, she consulted her doctor on her condition, who allowed her to take a few sips. She mentioned, “If you don’t drink beer, it’s going to happen somehow. I asked the doctor about it.” Speaking further, she added, “Then I used to drink two to three sips of beer for nine months.” Her statements made her the subject of heavy online trolling.
Aditi Sarangdhar has now issued clarification on her words through the media portal, Its Majja. In the interview, she stated, “I am a girl who eats vegetables, bread, roti, rice and rice.” She adds, “I haven’t eaten an outdoor vada pav in years. I haven’t been out to dinner in years.” During pregnancy she craved beer and claimed to be in a “state of shock.” She says that whoever experiences such things is the only one who knows how it feels. Talking about her drinking habits, Aditi said she avoids drinking as much as she can. She stated, “Even if there is a big party, I am asleep by seven o’clock. But when I was pregnant, I felt what I felt.”
Aditi Sarangdhar is famous for Marathi serials like Vadalvaat and Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla. She is set to feature in the film Bai Ga, along with Swapnil Joshi. It is set to release on July 12.
