Darshan's Wife Vijayalakshmi In Trouble After His Transfer To Bellary Central Jail

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, an accused in the Renuka Swamy murder case, has been from the Bengaluru Central Prison to Bellary Central Jail. The 24th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate has ordered this transfer. Now, as per reports, this has increased the troubles for his wife Vijayalakshmi Darshan.

According to reports, she used to visit the Bengaluru Central Prison twice to meet Darshan with her son Vineesh Thoogudeep. Now, as the Renuka Swamy murder accused is being shifted to Bellary Central jail, it will be reportedly difficult for her to cover such an enormous distance. According to the reports, she will have to spend 11 hours to reach the Bellary Central Jail.

Recently, a picture of Darshan went viral in which he was seen hanging out with three others, including a rowdy sheeter, on the lawns of Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Karnataka. Those seen with Darshan in the photo are rowdy sheeter: Wilson Garden Naga, and other inmates Nagaraj (the actor’s manager and co-accused) and Kulla Seena, a convict in a murder case. This photo sparked a massive row over the reported special treatment being given to the 47-year-old actor. In the photo, the 47-year-old actor was seen sitting on a chair, holding a cigarette and a coffee mug. In addition to this, a purported video of Darshan speaking to a person over a video call from the prison too had surfaced on social media.

“In the Darshan case we have asked for an inquiry to be done, nine people including the Chief Superintendent of the prison have been suspended, in case anyone else has to be (suspended) we will do it,” Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Darshan has been in judicial custody for a long time for the Renuka Swamy murder case. Renuka Swamy, a Darshan fan, was kidnapped from Chitradurga on June 8, 2024. He was brutally tortured to death allegedly by the 47-year-old actor and his aides for posting lewd comments on the key accused of the case, Pavithra Gowda. It is rumoured that Darshan has an affair with Pavithra Gowda, a fashion designer.
