Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan is known for her straightforward style. Her YouTube channel has gained many fans who enjoy her funny behind-the-scenes content, often involving cooking. In her latest video, Farah blends her love for cooking and dancing. She takes viewers to the sets of Ishq Vishk Rebound, where she choreographs actors Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal for a remix of the 90s hit, Gore Gore Mukhde Pe Kaala Kaala Chashma. The video begins with Farah preparing roast chicken for singer-rapper Badshah, who is also in the song. Farah goes on to say that Badshah can easily finish the entire roast by himself.
In the video, Badshah jokes that Farah should start her own franchise like KFC and call it “FRC.” When Farah asks if he would partner with her, he immediately says no. The video then shows Farah talking about the song Naina from the movie Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Farah choreographed the song, while Badshah sang it. Badshah goes on to say that Farah was unsure about the song during the shoot. Farah jokes that it was just okay, but she trusted Badshah’s belief that it would be a hit. She then praises Badshah and Diljit Dosanjh, saying it’s Diljit’s golden time. “It was so-so only. But Badshah had told me it was going to be a smash hit and I went by his conviction. Hat’s off to you and Diljit Dosanjh. It is his golden time,” says Farah.
On set, Farah is also seen scolding the team for missing steps. Clips show her behind the monitor, asking for multiple takes as Jibraan Khan repeatedly gets it wrong. Farah tells him, “I don’t know why Jibraan looks in the camera yaar, I don’t understand. I told you to look only in the end but you are looking at it (continuously). Andar kya Kareena Kapoor aayi hai tere?”
Closer to the dance floor, Farah takes the microphone and says, “If we looked after dance and acting as much as we looked after hair, we would be Deepika Padukone by now.”
Ishq Vishk Rebound releases in theatres on June 21.
