The who’s who of Hollywood came under one roof to pay tribute to music icon Jimmy Buffett. The event — Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett — took place on April 11 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. From Harrison Ford and Woody Harrelson to Pitbull and Paul McCartney, the starry night celebrated Buffett’s legacy and how. Toward the end of the concert, Hollywood stars created a memorable atmosphere on stage by singing Buffett’s anthem Margaritaville. While the event was a touching tribute to Buffett and his immense contribution to the industry, a humourous moment was caught on camera. In a video circulating on social media, Harrison Ford looked awkward as he sang alongside his fellow Hollywood elites.

In other videos, Harrison and his wife Calista Flockhart were captured thoroughly enjoying sitting at the audience. The couple was seen singing and dancing, while Ford had a huge smile on his face. For the occasion, the Raiders of the Lost Ark star was dressed in a blue shirt, black pants and a black overcoat. However, another video from the stage showed Ford in what seemed like he was in an awkward situation. An Instagram page sharing the video wrote, “Harrison Ford in the craziest video you will see all day.”

According to Variety, Harrison Ford received a thunderous welcome from the crowd as he arrived on the stage. During the special tribute to Jimmy Buffett, the veteran star shared a personal anecdote about how he was inspired by the late singer to get a piercing after a lunch.

Ford said, “Jimmy Buffett was a cool guy. I remember one day I had a long, some might say boozy lunch with Jimmy and Ed Bradley for Bradley’s birthday. I saw both of them had earrings. So right after lunch, I got my ear pierced. That’s just how infectious Jimmy’s coolness was, infectious enough for a 40 year old man to spontaneously get his fucking ear pierced and infectious enough to create an entire culture around his music. There is no other way to say it. There will never be another like Jimmy. Usually cool guys are not that nice. Jimmy was more than nice, he was kind. He was beloved by his family, by his friends, by his crew and his collaborators and he loved them all back.”

In his final days, Jimmy Buffett lived with his wife, Jane Slagsvol, who was thanked by Paul McCartney for her efforts in organising the concert. Along with Slagsvol, the late singer was survived by three children, two daughters Savannah and Sarah, and a son Cameron.
