Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of the most talked celeb couples in Bollywood. Every time the two head for a public event, they are bombarded with questions concerning their relationship. Similarly, when Alia was spotted at the red carpet of Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held on Thursday, she was quizzed about father Mahesh Bhatt calling Ranbir a “great guy” for her.
At first, the actress tried to dodge the question but later addressing it she told the media, "To be honest, I don’t want to talk about it, I am feeling shy. But, I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me."
Recently, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spilled the beans on her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor while talking to The Telegraph. Confirming that they are indeed together, Bhatt told, "Well, of course they're in love. You don't need to be a genius to get that!"
Apparently, Alia also confirmed that she's dating Ranbir on the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 6. Although she kept ignoring the relationship question, show's host Karan Johar took it upon himself to announce that she was officially in a relationship with the Sanju star.
The rumours of Alia and Ranbir dating fuelled after they arrived together at Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception in May this year. Post the reception, Alia even shared a photo of them together from the function on her Instagram.
Furthermore, the two have also been meeting each other’s family for quite some time now. On Ranbir's birthday, Alia's mother Soni Razdan joined Neetu and other members of the Kapoor family for the celebrations.
It is believed that the two bonded with each other while shooting Ayan Mukerji's film Brahmastra which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and is slated to release in December next year.
