Recently, the makers of the film took to social media to announce that the film has grossed Rs 288 crore in just four days after the release of the film. On Monday, September 9, the film minted yet another Rs 14 crore nett at the domestic box office.
GOAT has seen a significant boost in its box office collections after a brief decline last week. The film opened to mixed reviews on September 5. GOAT has now emerged as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024 and has already surpassed the collections of Raayan, Maharaja and Indian 2. The film has now set the cash registers ringing, as it marched past Rs 300 crore gross worldwide including overseas collections.
AGS Entertainment shared a poster on Instagram announcing the film’s achievement. It read, “In just 4 days Rs 288 crores gross”. The caption read, “GOAT for a reason. The Greatest of All Time crossed Rs 288 crores plus gross collection in 4 days.”
