Janhvi Kapoor is a foodie who keeps advocating for good food and healthy lifestyle despite her busy schedule. Currently, she is busy promoting her latest film Devara: Part 1, which hits the theatres today, September 27. Amidst the last-minute promotion schedules, she took some time out to enjoy a mouth-watering meal at her home. The actress shared a photo of her lavish meal on her Instagram stories.
The meal included ragi roti, rice, three to four types of sabzi, mixed-veg spaghetti, fish curry, chicken salad and what apparently looked like white sauce pasta, among others. We can also spot a wiped-and-scraped plate that seemingly belonged to Janhvi. It proves how much the diva enjoyed her meal. “It’s a welcome home for a quick minute,” wrote Janhvi.
Janhvi’s foodiculous stories are known to all. Undoubtedly, her Devara co-star, Jr NTR, is completely aware of it. However, he once teased the actress for not sending him food when he was in her city. The Telugu superstar was seen playfully complaining about Janhvi while they went on a promoting spree on the comedy reality show The Great Indian Kapil Show.
The actor mentioned that he sent good food to Janhvi when she was shooting in Hyderabad but didn’t get any favours from her since he arrived in Mumbai for the promotions. “When she was shooting in Hyderabad, I sent her good food twice. I have been in Mumbai for a day now, she hasn’t sent me even a bite of food. Let alone food that is made by her, she has not even sent me food from a restaurant,” he said, leaving the actress blushing.
This was not the first time we became acquainted with Janhvi’s culinary explorations. Earlier, Janhvi shared a glimpse of a delicious meal from the Devara sets. It was when she was shooting for the film in Hyderabad. For the unversed, a song from the film was shot in Shamshabad on the city’s outskirts. Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared a picture revealing how she was enjoying meals on the set. “I. Love. Shooting. For Devara,” read her caption atop the photo, followed by a couple of emojis. The picture gave a clear glimpse of a dining table with various South Indian food items.
Devara: Part 1 has several songs in the 2-hour 45-minute film. The list includes Chuttamalle, Fear Song, All Hail The Tiger, Daavudi, Dheere Dheere, Paththavaikkum and many others. Janhvi Kapoor is in two songs, including a fast-paced, peppy track, Daavudi and Chuttamalle, a romantic song in which Janhvi’s character Thangam sings about her feelings for Jr NTR’s character.
