Actors Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu are dominating the headlines for their much-anticipated Malayalam film Grrr. Directed by Jay K Jayakrishnan, this film also stars Anagha LK, Rajesh Madhavan and others in key roles. Film production company Phars Film Co LLC has announced the release date of Grrr with a poster on Instagram, i.e.- June 14. The poster shows Kunchacko and Suraj trying to deal with the lion with the help of a stick.

The teaser of this film is also making a buzz on social media which shares glimpses of Kunchacko’s character. As shown in the trailer, he deliberately jumps into a lion’s den at the Thiruvananthapuram zoo and is seen provoking the animal. Along with him, Suraj is seen playing a prominent role as one of the zookeepers who attempt to rescue him. Have a look at the teaser:
The teaser of this film has garnered more than 1 million views on YouTube. While viewers shared their excitement in the comment section, one of the users wrote, “I hope this movie will be successful. Love the teaser." Another one said, “Another promising project." Others dropped heart and fire emoticons in the comment box.
Jay K and S Praveen have scripted Grrr and it promises to be a fun entertainer. The makers have been working on the movie for a long time now, including shooting with a real lion in South Africa. The technical crew of this film comprises Jayesh Nair (cinematographer), Vivek Harshan (editor), and Dawn Vincent (background score). Apart from Dawn, Kailas Menon, and Tony Tarz have composed the songs.
Besides Grrr, Kunchacko and Suraj are known for their acting skills in many other hit films. Suraj has portrayed his acting skills in the films Jana Gana Mana, Madanolsavam and others. On the other hand, Kunchacko earned appreciation for his acting chops in the movies Take Off, Anjaam Pathiraa, etc. As of now, the 47-year-old actor will next act in films Rangeela, Varaham, etc. On the other hand, Kunchacko has films like Mariyam Tailors, an untitled project and Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha in the pipeline.
