Lakshmi Manchu-starrer Adiparvam To Release Next Month?

Lakshmi Manchu will return on the silver screens after a hiatus of two years with her upcoming movie Adiparvam. The actress was last seen in the Malayalam movie Monster, which was directed by Vysakh. It starred superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. Impressing the audience and critics with her action, she is now all set to make a comeback with Adiparvam. The official poster of the film was released last year. Now, reports suggest that the film’s trailer and song release will be done soon. Adiparvam’s trailer will reportedly be released on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, on March 8. The film is set to release in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Originally filmed in Telugu, the movie is slated to release in theatres worldwide in April, according to reports.

Known for movies like Dandu, Q Premaku Chavuku and Aaptha, Sanjeev Megoti helmed the direction of Adiparvam. According to reports, he has written stories and screenplays for more than 50 serials in Kannada and Telugu languages. He has produced serials under his banner as well. Suma Sudhindra will be composing the music for the film.

In a series of posters released by the makers, Lakshmi Manchu is seen in an action role, excluding powerful looks in the movie. According to Deccan Herald, she will be seen in a fiery role in this action flick which reportedly revolves around a treasure hunt. “The mystery thriller revolves around the revered Red Temple in Rayalaseema region and the legend surrounding it,” as quoted by Deccan Herald. In the posters, the temple can also be seen while Lakshmi Manchu stands before it in a green saree and raged eyes.

Adiparvam will mark the debut of Lakshmi Manchu in the Kannada film industry. While talking about the action scenes in the movie, Sanjeev Megoti said in an interview that Lakshmi Manchu has performed some daredevil stunts without even rehearsing much, and has managed to deliver four to five big action scenes. “She was floating in the air for some time for her kick-ass action blocks and she proved that she is best in the business,” he added.
