Keerthi Krishna is the niece of noted Kannada actors Sharan and Shruthi. The newcomer is now all set to mark her debut in the Kannada film industry with Sudheer Shanbhogue’s Dharani. She will star opposite Manoj Kumar. Recently, in an interview, Keerthi Krishna opened up about her excitement as she ventures into the world of acting. She said her family is her support. Initially, she wanted to be behind the camera, as she found directing short films to be fun. But, when everyone insisted she come in front of the camera, she decided to do so. As a child artist, Keerthi Krishna marked her debut with Shri Naga Shakthi in 2011. She was excited to act in the film. She expressed her joy after she got the opportunity to work with veteran actors like Ramkumar. Further, getting to star in a big-budget film has only doubled her happiness.
After her brief stint with acting as a child, Keerthi Krishna turned her focus to academics. Now, after more than a decade, she is ready to make her debut with the film Dharani as a lead actress. She is the third generation artiste in her family to enter the industry. She reportedly picked the nuances of her field from her grandparents at a very young age.
Many have often pointed out the resemblance of Keerthi Krishna to Shruthi; but both have their own unique style, which sets them apart and makes them appealing to the audience. Keerthi Krishnashared that her inspiration for acting is strongly influenced by Shruthi and the support and guidance from the whole family, including her grandparents helped her.
Apart from acting, Keerthi Krishna is also a great dancer and has been interested in this art form since childhood. She also is a great sportsperson, who enjoys playing badminton. Along with this, Keerthi Krishna also used to participate in plays during her college days. When asked about singing, she shared that she does not enjoy it. She added that her sister Gauri is a fine singer.
