Poster Of Marathi Film Danka Harinamcha, Featuring Lord Vitthal Idol, Garners Attention

Marathi films have been keeping the audience engaged with their interesting content these days. One such upcoming film has sparked curiosity amongst cine-goers after the poster was revealed. It featured an idol of Lord Vitthal, an avatar of Lord Krishna, covered in a red cloth. This has led to speculations regarding the theme and plot of the film. Every year, after the arrival of the first rains, devotees who are also known as Warkaris, visit Pandharpur’s Panduranga. Numerous Marathi films have depicted the devotion of Lord Vitthal and the devotion of Warkaris. Now, it looks like Danka Harinamcha is yet another film which may be centred around the Lord.

Film producer Amol Laxman Kagne took to Instagram to share the poster of the film. He wrote in Marathi, which when translated to English read, “The cymbals will play, the drums will beat, and Hari’s ‘Danka’ will resonate. Everyone will call out Harinam’s name. On July 19, 2024, Danka will shine in every corner of the world! Jai Hari Vitthal!”

The film Danka Harinamcha looks like it is centred on pure devotion towards Lord Vitthal or Panduranga. The film will star Sayaji Shinde, Aniket Vishwasrao, Priyadarshan Jadhav, Kiran Gaikwad, Rasika Sunil, Akshayaa Gurav, Nikkhhil Chavaan, Kiran Bhalerao, Kabir Duhan Singh and Mahesh Jadhav will be seen in important roles in the film. The film is produced by Ravindra Phad who belongs to the Warkari sect and out of devotion to Lord Vitthala, he has devoted this film to Him and His devotees.

Danka Harinamcha will hit the theatres on July 19. It is presented by Rudra Entertainments in association with Ganraj Studios. It is written and directed by Shreyash Jadhav. The film is an Amol Kagne Studio Release in Association With Filmastra Studios. The film will be released in Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada language.
