Trust Rajinikanth to be amazing at the box office everytime he appears in a film. At least, that’s what the producers of his believe, and then have been correct more often than not. The superstar’s new film, 2.0, has been declared a blockbuster in Hindi as well. After all, it has collected more than Rs 170 crore in two weeks.
As per Box Office India, 2.0, which also has Akshay Kumar in a prominent role, has collected Rs 170.50 crore by the end of its second Tuesday at the ticket window. The film has been doing well in the overseas markets as well.

Now, it has started getting stiff competition from Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan’s latest release Kedarnath. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film has been going steady at the box office. It opened to mostly positive reviews and has been steady at the ticket window during weekdays. Film trade analyst has tweeted the business figures for the film and they are encouraging for sure.
As per Adarsh, Kedarnath has earned Rs 32 crore in first days. Adarsh tweeted, “#Kedarnath passes the crucial Monday test... Remain rock-steady... Fri 7.25 cr, Sat 9.75 cr, Sun 10.75 cr, Mon 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 32 cr. India biz.”

As per Box Office India, Kedarnath has registered a tally of Rs 35.75 crore till Tuesday. This is a good news for Sushant whose last film Raabta vanished without a trace, and Sara Ali Khan who made her big Bollywood debut with Kedarnath.
